San Marco Glow

Continuing on my focus of  special lighting conditions this painting subject is San Marco Basilica in Venice, Italy. On this particular visit I found myself walking through the Piazza San Marco in the rain. There was a small band was playing wonderful  music. It was near sunset and there was a special glow around the  basilica as night fell in the rainy sky. It was a magical moment and I’m glad I was able to capture it!
